University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust (UHD) Knowledge and Library Services provides a highly visible, dynamic knowledge service for all; to improve and enhance health outcomes through the timely delivery of accessible, quality information.
We are part of UHD’s BEAT Education and Development Department.
Services we offer...
- Expert literature searching, information retrieval and enquiry services
- Book, article and journal supply. You can borrow 12 books for 28 days, and renew 3 times.
- Access to resources (physical books, eBooks, e-journals, databases)
- Training in Literature searching, academic study skills and critical appraisal
- Current awareness updates
- Knowledge mobilisation services and facilitation – including Journal Clubs, Randomised Coffee Trials and before/after action reviews
