We have bookable Training rooms at both Bournemouth Hospital Library and Poole Hospital Library.
All UHD staff must book a Library Training room via UBook.
Non-UHD staff should email uhd.library@nhs.net to make a booking request.
Our Rooms
The Library Training Room
Seats up to 3 people.
3 PCs available.
The Glass Room
Seats up to 8 people.
No PCs but it has video conferencing facilities. Keyboard and remote to be requested from the enquiries desk. Outside of staffed hours arrangements will need to be made to make use of this equipment.
The Allen Room
Seats up to 3 people.
3 PCs Available.
The Tarrant Room
Seats up to 8 people.
8 PCs available and a conference screen for larger video and audio meetings/training.
Room Booking Policy
Room use activities must be in keeping with the UHD Trust Values with education, training and professional development as a key focus.
Room bookings will be assessed on a first-come, first-served basis, no more than nine months in advance, and will take account of the nature of the activity and its educational value. Recurring bookings will not be made automatically and must be
requested by the persons responsible.
Meetings or activities without an educational purpose or activity may only be booked in within seven calendar days of the requested date.
These meetings may be cancelled at short notice should there be an overriding educational need.
Hirers are encouraged to book rooms elsewhere in the Trust for meetings and other non-education related activity.
