Renew Books
You can renew your library books by phoning, emailing or logging in to your account on the SWIMS Library Catalogue.
You can borrow 12 books for 28 days, and renew them up to 3 times.
Renew Online
Once on loan, books will be automatically renewed three times. You will receive an email confirming the new due date.
If you want to renew your books yourself or check your library account online, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your library account or create an account:
- Your username will be in the firstname.surname format. If you do not know your username, contact us.
- Click ‘Forgot your password?’ A password reset email will be sent to you.
- Log in using your username and new password.
- You can now renew your books. You can only renew your books 3 times after which you must either return the books or contact the library to ask about a further renewal.
Please note: you will still need to contact us to renew books from outside the south-west region as we need to contact the other library to ask for a renewal. You will be prompted by an email before the book’s date for return.
