Register for OpenAthens
OpenAthens is an identity and access management service used to access NHS and Trust purchased resources. As a member of Dorset NHS Libraries you can get free access to OpenAthens.
To register for an NHS OpenAthens account go to the online form, using the opposite button, and complete your details.
If you register with either an NHS email address or on an NHS computer you should get a link to create a password immediately.
If you register on a home computer your request to get an account will need to be approved by the library.
Password length must be between 10 and 100 characters and pass a strength assessment. Passwords are case sensitive, and just about any character from any language is fine – if it’s on the keyboard you’re using it should be ok. To find out more, press the opposite button.
