Request a Literature Search

On this page you will find a form for requesting a literature search, and information about requesting a literature search from UHD Knowledge and Library Services.

What is a literature search?

A literature search is a detailed, comprehensive, and systematic search of the published and unpublished literature about specific topics or conditions.

The search yields a set of results on the topic in question – usually a list of journal articles and reports.

Our literature searches typically take 1-2 weeks, and deadlines may need to be negotiated during periods of high demand. In some circumstances we may be able to offer a quicker turnaround. Please contact us directly to discuss.

This service is not available to students, although we can support you to undertake a literature search yourself.

What can it be used for?
