Mental Health Resources for Dorset HealthCare and UHD staff and students
We subscribe to a whole range of mental health content and resources, including medical databases and point of care tools that can support users in their research, studies, and daily tasks.
Clinical overviews
ClinicalKey is a point of care tool which includes searchable clinical overviews. The clinical overview provides condition synopsis, plus information about associated terminology, diagnosis, treatment, complications and prognosis, and screening and prevention.
BMJ Best Practice has multiple Psychiatry clinical overviews (in the Specialities section) with links to history and examination steps, diagnostic investigations, further reading, guidelines, clinical calculators and patient information resources.
These clinical overviews can be valuable when you need a detailed summary of a condition that you’re not familiar with or is outside your area of expertise.

We also have subscriptions to a wide range of peer-reviewed, world-leading online journals.
