Dorset Healthcare wants to make research everyone’s business, and offer research opportunities which both patients and staff can get involved in.
What support is provided?
The R&D team can provide support and guidance through all stages of the project from project design, getting the right approvals in place and carrying out the research, right through to spreading the word about your results. The first step is to contact the R&D team to discuss your project. They need to review any research conducted within the Trust to ensure compliance with local policy and national legislation.
For research outside the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) portfolio research, the R&D team can offer limited support. Please refer to the tools on their Researchers’ Zone webpage, which includes a checklist to make sure that your research has the required approvals in place.
